Converging and diverging melt channels promote strand alignment in filled applications. The VLDM Screw offers reduced scrap rates and higher outputs at lower melt temperatures. The design can be tailored for a wide range of thermoplastic applications including shear sensitive and abrasive resins – making the VLDM Screw a truly all-purpose screw design.
